Highlights of the CME

• Live demonstration of Bariatric procedures by experts
  
  • Single procedure at a time so that all steps of the entire procedure can be demonstrated.
  • Three common procedures – Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Roux-EN-Y-Gastric Bypass, Omega Loop Gastric Bypass will be demonstrated and technical concerns to overcome challenges will be manifested.
• Video presentation of common technical challenges with rescue tips will be made by experts.
• Hands on training of Bariatric procedures on human cadaver, it will be focused, small group mentored course. Trainees will perform most of the critical steps of the common bariatric procedures . The experienced bariatric surgeons will supervise and mentor the course.

Eligibility Criteria for Cadaver Course

1	The candidate must have completed 3 years post Master of Surgery (MS) degree.
2	Must be doing basic and advanced laparoscopic procedure and are also exposed to bariatric procedure.
3	Have the setup and infrastructure to start Bariatric programme.

Eligible candidates will be informed and the course fee to be deposited after the selection is confirmed by the Foundation.
